One day, there was a poor fisherman and his greedy wife. They lived miserably in a dirty little hut. The fisherman some day went to fishing. He got a huge fish. But the fish begged him to let it free. Then he freed the fish.

At home, the fisherman talked about that fish. His greedy wife insisted him to visit the fish then asked it for a little cozy cottage. The enchanted fish granted her wish, but the wife however wasn’t happy.

So she insisted her husband to got back to the enchanted fish and asked for being an emperor. However, the enchanted fish still granted it again. The fisherman went to his castle and didn't back for a quite long time.

Later on, the greedy wife got angry and insisted her husband to begged the enchanted fish to turned them as Lord of the Sun and the Moon. The fisherman came again with his annoyed face. That time, the enchanted fish turned them back as a poor people forever.

Suatu hari ada seorang nelayan miskin dan istrinya yang tamak. Mereka hidup susah di sebuah gubuk kumuh. Suatu hari, nelayan menemukan ikan ajaib namun melepaskannya. Sang istri bersikeras agar si nelayan kembali untuk meminta rumah kecil yang layak untuk mereka. Sang ikan mengabulkan, tapi istrinya tidak juga puas. Dia menyuruh suaminya kembali meminta untuk menjadikan mereka kaisar di kastil. Ikan ajaib masih mengabulkan. Namun, sang istri masih saja meminta menjadi penguasa matahari dan bulan. Ikan ajaib akhirnya mengubah mereka menjadi miskin kembali selama-lamanya.
